October 13, 2007, Kevin and I road with a group from ST.N on a covered
bridge tours ride. We both had some time off from school, so we road up
to Manchester, NH on Friday and spent the night in the Econo Lodge. I didn't take pics (no camera), which is not unusual, so I "borrowed" these from NiceRumble. We met the first group at Seacoast Ducati and road to Fiddleheads cafe to meet a second bunch of riders. Here I am at Fiddleheads with the Feej in the background on the right ![]() Some of us needed gas, this was also an opportunity for some photos. In the first shot Kevin and I are sporting our tinted visors on the left ![]() In this shot we see Kevin sitting on the bike, probably trying to figure out how to get warm. It was a bit chilly that weekend. ![]() We did see some covered bridges, at the Ashuelot bridge we took a break for some pics ![]() for the group shot we commandeered a local kid. ATGATT rules with sport-tourers! ![]() After some lunch and some spirited riding we ended at "The Trebuchet". ![]() A pumpkin chunkin champ, youtube videos don't do this justice, you have to see it live to really get a feeling for how far it launches a pumpkin. Here are we are shooting the breeze about something or other in the parking lot - you always have a friend if you are with a fellow cyclist. ![]() The next day we road home. It was freezing, the temps ranged from 35-45, and it rained. I now have heated grips and the V-Strom handguards! | |||||
